Cultivate a Transformative & Healing Journaling Practice [Live Event]
Your Invited to the Ink & Insights Journaling Workshop Oct 8th
Maybe you’ve heard that journaling can support your mental, emotional, spiritual, and even physical health. Maybe you’ve dabbled in journaling on and off over the years, but you haven’t found it to be all that helpful. Maybe journaling is something you’re interested in, but you aren’t sure where to start, so you haven’t.
No matter where you find yourself, if you’re interested in cultivating a transformative and healing journaling practice, I can help.
If you’re new around here (welcome), let me tell you a bit about myself. I’m a former English teacher and a certified writing coach. Journaling became a healing companion for me after my infant daughter died in 2009. At the time, I was also navigating the grief of my father’s death and thrust into military life. The combination of grief, frequent moves, and my husband’s deployments to active war zones led to a build-up of depression, anxiety, discontent, and inner turmoil. I knew something needed to change, and I needed help. I sought support and wisdom from safe friends, wise spiritual mentors, and licensed therapists. And then, I began to journal.
Writing and journaling have saved my life more than a time or two.
Over the past four years, I’ve cultivated a passion for spreading the love of writing as a tool for healing and hope. I’ve published two journals and led hundreds of people through Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way (and her morning pages) and my own personal journaling workshops.
I’m so happy to share that I’m hosting a new journaling workshop in October.
Join me on Tuesday, October 8th at 5 pm PT/ 8 pm ET for a live journaling workshop where you’ll learn how to tap into the healing benefits of journaling and cultivate a transformative practice.
During this workshop, I’ll share a method to ensure your journaling time is meaningful and effective. This method incorporates inspiration from Julia Cameron’s morning pages, Frederick Buechner’s idea of listening to your life, and Immanuel journaling, incorporating various therapeutic skills. This workshop won’t just be informative and instructive; it will be action-oriented. We’re going to journal together in real-time.
Discover the characteristics your journal practice must have and learn a process so that you can find insights in ink.
Writers and journalers of all stages are welcome—even those without prior writing or journaling experience.
